WHAT IS A HUIPIL?
A huipil is a traditional garment worn by Maya women throughout Guatemala. Traditionally made from handwoven fabric, huipiles are known for their distinctive colors, patterns, and regional designs. These textiles reflect generations of Mayan craftsmanship and cultural tradition.
